Course Title: Why the Civil War Still Matters (Winter Term 2019)
Participant Testimonials:

Roland is always an excellent presenter. I was happy that he properly emphasized the racial aspect of the Civil War and aftermath.

Depth and variety of readings; participants, with many personal anecdotes that added color to the topic; Roland's deft engagement of the class and his summations of additional material. These all worked very well.
