Parker Towle

Parker Towle majored in English at Yale and also took three semesters of memorable Philosophy. He matriculated thereafter at the University of Vermont College of Medicine from which he could commune with his beloved Green Mountains. He and his wife began a family. He ended up practicing Neurology for 54 years and teaching at Harvard and Dartmouth medical schools. Now retired, he has returned to the Humanities as participant and teacher at OSHER@Dartmouth. He has published seven books of poems.
