Carol Stanigar has been gardening for 40 years and was self-taught until her retirement allowed her to study Horticulture at UNH. For 12 years she has operated a small business consulting, restoring and designing gardens in the White Mountains. For the last 6 years she has field-tested special varieties and field grown them for retail sale.
