Carol Stanigar has been gardening for 50 years and was self-taught until her retirement allowed her to study Horticulture at UNH. For 12 years she has operated a small business consulting, restoring and designing gardens in the White Mountains. For many years field tested and grew rare varieties for retail sale.

Carol was very creative in how she went about preparing the meals for each class. Basically, she was able to show us 3 to 4 recipes per class. It was very informative and she was a delight.
