Course Title: Wetlands and Vernal Pools (Spring Term 2023)
Jim is the master of wetlands!
Great choices of guest experts to join us in the field. Visiting Steve Faccio's favorite pools was a special treat.
Course Title: No Mow: Wild Lawns and Meadows (Fall Term 2022)
Jim's years of experience with and knowledge of the subject are obvious, and necessary for this course.
I learned a lot about different grasses for different species and different mowing schedules. I still have a lot more to learn.
Course Title: Winter Botany (Winter Term 2018)
I have taken Osher classes with both study leaders separately. Together they combined their expertise making for a rich learning experience.
I enjoyed being out in the field with leaders who knew their plants worked really well. The trips were well planned and organized.
