The slide format worked well with the analysis of the accidents we reviewed.

Fun course -- liked the zoom format when there weren't too many participants!

Did a great job exploring a very timely crash scenario (the helicopter-plane crash at Washington National)

Why Accidents Happen (Winter Term 2024)

Participant Testimonials:

Lots of slides shared directly in class and posted on drive along with other very useful referred to slides.

Incredibly knowledgeable and if he didn’t know something, he said so. So many good examples of so many accidents.

Why Accidents Happen: The Human Factor (Fall Term 2022)

Participant Testimonials:

Excellent slides. Not only that, Brad had obviously used zoom before, because there was not one glitch.

Dr. Truax's background in writing safety blogs and hospital safety makes him the right person to teach this course. He should definitely be encouraged to teach it again.
