Marcus Smith

Marc Smith received his doctorate in English from State University of New York at Buffalo. He has taught at Hilbert College, SUNY at Buffalo, Keene State College, and Franklin Pierce University. He was named a “Teacher of Excellence” by the New York State English Council and received an award for outstanding teaching from Sigma Tau Delta. A 49-year member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society and a published poet, he is also the author of a work of fiction. He has a particular interest in nineteenth century English and American literature.
