Peter Bien
Peter is an Honorary Founder of OSHER@Dartmouth's predecessor, ILEAD, established in 1991. As a Professor of English and Comparative Literature Emeritus at Dartmouth, he taught Ulysses there for over 30 years. He knows Joyce's secrets and will reveal them to students who don't mind suffering some puzzlement owing to Joyce's extraordinary genius. He has led life-long learning courses on Greek Literature, Milton, Mann, Poetry and Prose.
